It is hoped that there will be a Sunday Eucharist at St. John's from 6th September. Details to follow.

The Benefice is situated just to the West of Newport in South East Wales. It has three Churches: St. Basil's in Bassaleg; St. Anne's in High Cross; St. John the Baptist in Rogerstone. We are part of the Diocese of Monmouth in the Church in Wales, which is part of the worldwide Anglican Church.

For those of you new to the area or new to the Church - we know that walking into a new place with unfamiliar people can be a daunting experience, but we want to assure you that you will receive a warm welcome when you attend a service at any of our churches.

If you would like to know more about the Church or the Christian faith, or would like someone from the benefice to call and introduce themselves, then please let us know; you can find contact details on our

Who's Who ? page.

Services are held in all of the churches on Sundays and throughout the week at one or other of the churches. The main Sunday gatherings for worship are modern language Eucharist services with music. There is also an earlier, quieter, traditional language service at St Basil's and 'Time for God' is an informal service held at St. Anne's, lasting about half an hour with both adults and children taking part.
